“When you’ve spent year after year in therapy, tried
every medication, missed sleep night after night with worry, and don’t know
where else to turn…call us!”
Based in Oklahoma, the Post Institute for
Family-Centered Therapy has been able to reach families world-wide with the
family-centered therapeutic approach.
If your adopted child has been diagnosed with Reactive
Attachment Disorder, Oppositional-Defiant Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress
Disorder, or Depression, the family-centered regulatory approach will help
you start the healing process.
Adoption and it’s impact on children is greatly
misunderstood by mainstream society. The truth is that adopted children at
all levels have experienced some degree of trauma. The initial break from
the biological mother is a traumatic event. In most instances, this
disruption is never addressed sufficiently much less mended. As the years
pass and the adoptive family and child continue struggling day in and day
out, vital windows for brain access and change are being missed. If you
think that you are missing out on these critical phases for helping your
child to live a healthy and happy life then call or e-mail us today: (866)

How do you know if you are missing out on such critical
phases? If you have explored numerous therapeutic options and your child has
been placed on psychiatric medication (or numerous), and nothing still seems
to make sense to you…then you know you are missing out.
Our belief is that every family has the innate ability
to create their own healing dynamic.
The Post Institute works to empower families through
education, insight, awareness, and understanding. This process allows
families to go back to their lives, viewing everyday dynamics with a new
lens.
Furthermore, we do not believe that a child can be
treated effectively outside of the family context. The parent system is the
foundation of the family. The parent system must first be secured before a
firm foundation can be established for the child to continue the growth
process.
The Post Institute for Family-Centered Therapy offers
your family six options for working directly with Dr. Bryan Post and his
treatment team.
- In-home Intensive Therapy Program for families
with children age 3 to 12: A combined six-month program beginning
with an initial three days of very intense family-oriented work. This
enables the family to create a new foundation for the healing process.
Following the three-day intensive session, Dr. Post begins engaging the
family each week with rigorous telephone coaching sessions that enable
them to continue following the prescribed preventative environment given
at the end of the three days. Dependent of the progress of the family, it
is sometimes recommended that a follow-up visit occur after three months.
During the six-month program Dr. Post advocates for the family in any and
all areas where they may struggle. Such areas may include school meetings,
IEP’s, court appointments, employment difficulties, and many others.
Appointments for in-home intensive work with
Dr. Post are limited and often times must be scheduled three months ahead of
time. To request an initial evaluation and fee schedule call or e-mail:

- Intensive Attachment Therapy Program conducted
at the Post Institute for Families with children age 3 to 12:
Many families and couples have chosen to come
to Dr. Post to do their work. In this regard the family or couple flies into
Oklahoma and is picked up by Dr. Post or one of his staff and transported to
Mountain View. Some families prefer to rent a car, but this is not necessary
in most instances. Mountain View is a small town located 11/2 hours
southwest of Oklahoma City. The small quiet town offers families an
opportunity to engage emotionally while being able to restore and relax
within the calm vibrations of the setting. All room and board arrangements
are made through the Post Institute. To request an initial evaluation and
fee schedule call or e-mail: (866) 848-POST or

- Intensive Attachment Therapy Program conducted
at the Post Institute for Families with Adolescents:
The adolescent program is a multi-phase program
that takes place over a 9-month period. Due to the intensity of most cases
with adolescents present it is highly challenging to work with a family in a
standard 6-month fashion. The initial phase of the program begins with
two-days of intensive work focused solely on the parent system. In this
manner, the parents come to Oklahoma alone, or Dr. Post is brought into
their home. Following 3 months after the initial phase, then the second
phase begins with intensive work involving the entire family generally
lasting from two to three days. In some instances three-months after the
second phase a family may be required to undergo a two-day follow up session
either in-home or at the institute. Coaching last the duration of nine
months. To request an initial evaluation and fee schedule call or e-mail:

- Intensive Couples Therapy Program conducted in
Mountain View, OK:
In some instances couples realize the need to
focus solely on their own issues separate from their children or other
family circumstances. In this manner, Mountain View is the ideal place to
get away from the hustle and bustle or noisy city distractions to focus
solely on the relationship. Couples fly into Oklahoma and are picked up by a
limousine and transported to Mountain View to work with Dr. Post. The
couples program takes on the same dynamics as the other programs in that the
intensive phase generally last three days and the coaching continues for six
months afterward. In some cases, the intensive phase may only proceed for
two days, but the couple is still encouraged to stay an additional day for
relaxation and absorbing the impact of the highly emotional work that has
taken place. Mountain View is a small town located 11/2 hours southwest of
Oklahoma City. The small quiet town offers families an opportunity to engage
emotionally while being able to restore and relax within the calm vibrations
of the setting. All room and board arrangements are made through the Post
Institute. To request an initial evaluation and fee schedule call or
